In 1996, I sat on a beanbag on my bathroom floor in the worst pain of my life.
I didn't know then that UTIs would become such a long-running part of my life... or that nearly 30 years later, so much of managing them would still depend on remembering what happened the last time. When did it start? What did it feel like? What did I take? Did it work?
Patients remember what they can. Physicians work from what patients remember, what's documented in a chart, and what can be pieced together over time. I don't think that's good enough.
That's why I set out to create Flare — a clinical tracking tool designed to bring patient symptoms, treatment history, responses, and flare patterns together in one place.
Flare UTI is built for physicians.
Powered by patient data.
And born from a problem I've been living with since 1996.
